Ecumenical Holy walk in Lyons

There will be an ecumenical holy walk and procession of the Cross on Good Friday, April 21 to remember Good Friday and to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Walkers should meet at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Lyons which is at the corner of Broad and Queen Streets.

The walk will proceed to The United Methodist Church, then on to Grace Episcopal and will end at St. John's Lutheran. At each stop, there will be a reading, a prayer and a song. Participating pastors include, Rev. Cynthia Huling Hummel, Rev. Gary Sawtelle, Rev. James Carroll and Rev. Jack Bailey. Dress for the weather. The walk will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Families with small children are especially welcome.
