Lincoln students take puppets to Newark Manor

The students in Stephanie Tandle's second-grade class at Lincoln School created puppets and marionettes, made scenery, wrote skits, and took the show on the road.

A presentation was made yesterday at Newark Manor Nursing Home. The show has also been taped for broadcast on cable channel 12.

The project is part of the After School Arts in Education program. Professional puppeteer Diane Davis taught the children how to design and make these colorful puppets.
