caesarMissing Sodus

We were out and about in Sodus, Williamson, Ontario and Sodus Point this past Monday. (We decided to go away during the kids' spring break and took Sarah and Caesar to vacation at the Dunn Travlin' Ranch. Caesar remembered where he was and blew the horn just like always. Sarah just wasn't so sure.) We dropped them off with new chew toys and bones to make them happy (and make ourselves feel better). The cats had run of the house - we told them no parties, but you know independent cats can be.

While we were there, we visited the Williamson Library and chatted with Mrs. Gravelle and couldn't help but pick up a few new books. Don't forget the storytimes at the library:

Spring Pre-School Storytimes on Wednesday mornings from l0:30 -ll a.m., April 5 through May 3. Registration is required. Lap Sit Storytime for children ages l8 months to 3 years and their adult partner is Monday mornings at l0:30, May l - 22. Registration is also required for this.

green eyed cat We stopped by the Kraft Shack, but Ruth Lennox has Mondays off. We were able to pick up a schedule of all the new craft classes for everyone to take. There will be an Easter Egg Sale today and Saturday, from l0 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open an egg for your discount. There will be many great crafts for you to make all during May, including paper making and oil painting with Larry.

Eileen Hooper's Mom has moved into her new place right down the street from Eileen. Universal Studio is doing their fireworks at night, so the Hoopers, along with Eileen's Mom, sit on the porch to watch. Can you imagine watching fireworks every single night?! On April 23, Eileen will be starting her new job doing wigs and make up on the actors and actresses at Epcot. How exciting! Doug is a sales person at MGM. (The weather is in the 80's there in Florida... poor dears.)

hyacinths in bloom Don't forget - Boy Scout Troop #111 is having a Car Wash/ Bottle Drive tomorrow (Sat., April 22), weather permitting, at the Super Duper Parking lot from l0 to 3:30 p.m. They are asking for donations, or if you drop off a bag full of nickel deposit containers, they'll give you a free car wash.

Congratulations to Donny Lennox, who will be going to Cooperstown Baseball Camp this summer. Sounds like the Lennox family has been busy. Alyssa went to Girl Scout Camp for three days during her vacation time this past week.

We saw a lot of fishermen in our travels to Sodus Point. The LOC & Salmon Derby will be going on from April 25 through May 7 along the coast of Lake Ontario.
