Meeting & vote at Lyons Library

On May 1 at 7 p.m. the Lyons Public Library Board of Trustees will have the annual meeting.

The 2000-2001 budget will be presented to the public. Everyone is encouraged to attend. On May 2, from 2-8 p.m., voters in the Lyons school district will be able to vote on the library's budget and a trustee candidate. To be eligible to vote, you must be at least 18 years old, a United States citizen, and have been a resident of the school district for 30 days prior to the vote. Copies of the budget may be picked up at the library at 67 Canal Street, Lyons.

If you will not be in town on the day of the vote, absentee ballots are available. You can pick one up at the library during library hours.
