Myers invites citizens to visit

The community is invited to participate in a variety of fun and educational activities when they come to see the renovated emergency department and new short-stay unit at ViaHealth of Waynes Myers Hospital on Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Myers, 6600 Middle Road in Sodus.

Special activities include: tours of the new unit; free bicycle helmets for children through 6th grade; free presentations on summer emergencies by Dr. Frank Edwards at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.; local emergency providers including Sodus Town and Sodus Point ambulances and Mercy Flight helicopter; a teddy bear clinic where kids can bring their favorite stuffed animals for a check up; and free health screenings for adults.
