Newark swim association to meet

The Newark Swim Association will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, August 15, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Newark Public Library Community Room, High Street, Newark. The meeting shall be for the purpose of electing Board members for the next fiscal year and for conducting other business as properly comes before the meeting.

Swim Association members who are eligible to vote are the parents or legal guardians of competitive swimmers, which include swimmers on the Newark Dragons, the Modified, and the Varsity swim teams. There will be one vote per family.

Duties of the Board of the Newark Swim Assn. include performing booster club functions for the Modified and Varsity swim teams and conducting all administrative functions for the Newark Dragons, including scheduling practices, liaison functions with USA swimming, handling finances and publicity for the Club.
