IEC names president

Thomas Lovelock has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of IEC, effective August 21.

Lovelock will replace Russ Stingel, who has served as President and interim Chief Executive Office since the December death of David Fradin. Stingel will remain as a Director of IEC Electronics.

Lovelock previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Group Technologies, a subsidiary of Sypris Solutions, Inc., in Louisville, Kentucky. Sypris is a diversified provider of technology-based outsource services and specialized industrial products. Lovelock has had a 35-year career in electronics manufacturing.

'Tom brings a thorough knowledge of our industry as well as a proven track record of success to IEC,' said Stingel. 'We look forward to his leadership and his skills in moving IEC to a position of strength and profitability to the near future.'
