Yoga program at Williamson Library

The Williamson Public Library is offering a way to make the lazy days of summer, and the relaxation that goes with them, continue.

Marlene Ferguson, instructor and Director of yoga passage, will present a program on August 16 at 7 p.m. in the library entitled, 'A Journey Toward Health and Wellness' to introduce yoga as a way to relax, strengthen and focus.

Ferguson has been active in several martial arts styles, yoga, aerobic fitness and weight training for 20 years. She is a certified Personal Trainer and is a member of the California Yoga Teachers Association and the Rochester Yoga society.

The evening program is free, open to the public and will offer demonstrations of yoga postures and instruction on how muscles, bones and inner fibers can become healthier, stronger, more flexible and more youthful.
