Lyons Nursery School hires new teacher

Lyons Cooperative Nursery School has hired Donna Morrell to be a teacher. She lives in Oaks Corners with her husband and two daughters.

Morrell has an AAS degree in Nursery Education from Cayuga Community College and a BS degree in Early Childhood Education from Cortland State.

She has taught preschool for seven years and worked with special education students (in the junior and senior high level) for two years.

Morrell is starting her 10th year of coaching varsity cheerleading at Romulus High School and is looking forward to teaching preschool again and working in Lyons.

LCNS is currently accepting applications Tuesday and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call Tammy Snyder at 946.6897 or Karen Galbraith at 946.5957. Anyone interested in LCNS is invited to attend an open house on August 24 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. at 11 Queen St., Lyons.
