Fun match for dogs at the Point

The Sodus Point Community Center presents its annual Dog Agility and Obedience Fun Match on Saturday, August 12 in the Sodus Point Ball Park on Bay Street. Agility starts at 8:15 a.m. and the Obedience starts at 10 a.m. Winners will receive prizes and ribbons.

Vendors for the shows, should call Joan Carter at 483.8567 - dog related or otherwise. There is no charge to set up. Raffles will be available throughout the day. A Chicken BBQ will be served at noon by the Community Center staff and beverages will be served by Junior Girl Scout Troop #250.

The Village Veterinarian, Dr. Beth Stoutz, DVM, will be offering a vaccine clinic at the match this year. Vaccines available for a small fee include Rabies, and Distemper/Parvo/Lepto/ Lyme. Dr. Stoutz will be available from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
