Remember the Wayne County Fair (Aug. 14-19) and the Marion Senior Citizen Booth. Delicious food will be served by Marion senior class members.

Congratulations to John and Julia Wise Reasor who were married in the Second Reformed Church sanctuary on July 29.

Al Cambier is recovering at home following a fall where he injured his elbow.

Erin and Elyse Bushart provided the Ministry of Music at the Second Reformed Church on August 6.

Gordon Adriaansen wishes to thank those who called and sent cards and gifts during his bout of illness, and for the promise of a steak dinner after he regains his strength.

There will be a garage sale today and tomorrow at 4620 Smith Road, Marion. A wide assortment of things will be available.

St. Stephen's Apostolic Church at 3849 N. Main St., Marion, will be holding a BBQ dinner sale on Saturdays for the summer. More information to come.

Harold and Eleanor Schoonerman and family hosted the Adriaansen family reunion on July 30. All gathered at the home of Rog and Hen on Mill Street where many enjoyed splashing in the pool. Food was served.

August 11, 1921: When Mr. and Mrs. Fred Philley and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Green of Palmyra were returning from Sodus Point on Sunday evening, in turning out to avoid a mud puddle, a large Dodge touring car struck wet sand and went down an embankment on Palmyra Road, near Fred Durfee's and overturned.

Arnie and Monica Deyo recently spent a week in Old Forge. They were joined by their four daughters and two sons-in-law, a well as grandson, Nicholas. Monica's sister, Sheila Tetor, vacationed with them, accompanied by her husband and son. The Deyos enjoyed golfing, canoeing, several days at Water Safari and a boat excursion on the Fulton Chain of Lakes.

Shirley Tack is recuperating at her home following surgery.

Mary Bushart of Drumlin Estates broke her hip.

Ike DeBack, Sr. is residing at Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus.
