VanDerMeere family reunion planned

Families related to the late Jacob VanDerMeere, Isaac DeFisher (DeVisser) and Susie Bertou VanDerMeere will be having their first family reunion. They have several local families and a few from out of state coming to the event. However, there must be others in the area that are related, and possibly would like to attend.

The reunion is being held on Sunday, Sept. 3 at Forman Park on Lake Road in Pultneyville. A pavilion has been rented for the day. Folks will start gathering at 11 a.m., with dining starting at 1 p.m. Families are asked to bring a dish to pass, their own meat, beverage and table settings. Lawn chairs and games for kids would be appreciated, too.

Those having old family pictures, or any genealogy information they would like to share, are encouraged to do so.
