Golf tourney in Newark

The Wayne County Business Council and the Newark Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual Golf Tournament Monday, September 11 at the Newark Country Club. Registration will begin at noon with lunch, followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Tournament fee of $250 per foursome and will include a picnic lunch of hots, hamburgers and drink, 18 holes of golf with a cart, on-course refreshments and a grazing hors d'oeuvres party following golf.

Prizes and a cash bar will also be available. Single entrants are welcome at $70 and will be teamed into foursomes. Everyone is invited to join in an afternoon of fun and fellowship.
