 The United Church was pleased to welcome Melody Coriddi as the organist. Last Wednesday evening Grace Franke was honored for her years of faithful service.

Rev. Dan's 'prison term' at the United Church netted $180 for the March of Dimes effort to help newborns. Thanks to all who contributed.

The Women's Guild at the United Church thanks everyone who donated infant clothing and articles to the Cameron Mission in Rochester. The items have been packed and sent on their way. Thank you for your continued generosity and support.

Care Net Pregnancy Center invites you to an Open House on December 3 from 1-3 p.m. Stop in and see the facility at 608 East Main Street in Palmyra.

Cynthia Steurrys, who resides at Park Place in Newark, has been a patient at Strong Memorial Hospital where she underwent hip surgery. She is now at the Newark Manor undergoing rehabilitation.

OPEN HOUSE at the Plant Lady at 3058 Goosen Road will be Dec. 7, 8 , 9, and 16. Come early and do your gift shopping.

Alan and Kathy Wessie and children entertained family for Thanksgiving. Attending were Doug and Jeanette Wessie, Cleall and Sherwood Johnson and Judy and Franz Kopf of Eldred, NY.

Gordon and I and family, joined extended family members at Micelli's restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. The buffet was followed by a stop at sister, Linda Roeland's, for the rest of the afternoon.

DECEMBER 5, 1957: The fourth grade, taught by Mr. Richard Isler, is publishing a school paper for the grades and their third issue had seven pages of interesting material including grade news, cartoons, stories and other items.

Dennis and Loretta VanStrien spent Thanksgiving week with their daughter, Ted and Lynn Riposa and children Katelyn and Jonathan of Roswell, GA.

Nov. 28 - Cement is being poured for sidewalks at the Marion Grange Building in readiness for the long awaited opening of the Marion Town Library.

Vern and Mil Leenhouts spent Thanksgiving weekend with their daughter and family, Joan and Stuart Bornstein in Tappan.

On November 19, Debra Iannello of Parker Rd., Marion, was inducted into the International honor Society of Phi Theta Kappa at Monroe Community College in Rochester. Attending the ceremony was her son, Sal, her mother, Carolyn Griffis and her sister, Karen, of Walworth Rd. In celebration of the event, dinner was enjoyed at Davinci's Restaurant in Penfield.

Gary and Barb Wilson enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner with family. Son Jim Frankel was home from Boston, and daughter, Melissa Wilson, was home from Nazareth College.
