Christmas in Marion next week

If you stroll down Main Street, you'll hear the music from Christmas caroloers, musicians and church bells. Children will decorate the Christmas tree in the center of Marion with their own hand-made ornaments made at the Marion Library.

Have 'Breakfast with Santa' at Maryellen's Restaurant or 'Supper with Santa' at Mark's Pizzeria. Take a horse-drawn wagon ride ($1 per ride, adult or child). Watch a glass-blowing demonstration, see the Siberian Husky Dog sled team, listen to the storytellers, join the sing-a-longs, sign up for free door prizes, take a chance on a 50/50 drawing, and so much more!

Local merchants have extended their Saturday hours until 5 p.m. and are offering great Christmas specials for this day only. Shoppers can enter drawings for door prizes, including gift certificates, cellular phone and more, by stopping into any participating merchant. Tickets from all the participating merchants will be pooled together and the winning tickets will be drawn at The Marion Voice office on Monday, December 11. Winners will be notified and will be listed in the January issue of The Marion Voice.
