Newark Lions serving up spaghetti

The Newark Lions Club is sponsoring its annual Spaghetti Dinner on Thursday, December 7, from 5 -7 p.m.

Dinner will be served in the Newark High School cafeteria. Proceeds will be used to provide scholarships to graduating seniors in the Class of 2001 in addition to other charitable causes. Last year, the Lions Club was able to assist five students attending college.

Ticket costs are Adult ($5), Children ($3), Senior Citizens ($4), and Entire Family ($15). Tickets may be purchased in advance from any Lions Club member or at the door. The Newark Lions Club appreciates the continued support of the community in its charitable efforts.
