Newark providing shuttles to RPO concert If you're planning to attend the much-anticipated Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra's performance this week, we have good news. The concert, in the Newark High School auditorium on Thursday, will be a delightful holiday treat. But because of school construction, many worried about traffic problems and limited parking. So, the School District will provide three shuttle buses to pick up residents who park at the Arcadia Reformed Church or the school bus garage, both on Wood Lane. Transportation will be available before and after the concert. (If there are any left) Tickets are $5 and are sold at the Newark Wegmans service desk or at the high school office. This concert will be a general admission event, and there will be no reserved seating. Senior citizens with Newark School District Gold Card may attend for free, but only if they call at 332.3200, ext. 2255 in advance to have a ticket reserved for them. Additional parking will be at Kelley School. The Newark Music Boosters Club will be selling refreshments during the concert intermission.
