DAR Christmas meeting will be December 20

Colonel William Prescott Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution of Wayne County will meet on December 20 at the Chapter House, 119 High St., Newark.

Year-end business will be transacted at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The noon holiday luncheon will have the theme 'Christmas Celebrations.' Gift packages of assorted cookies for exchange and for the shut-in will be prepared. Each member is asked to furnish two dozen cookies for this service project.

Jeanne Frey and Sylvia Harding, both of Newark, have decorated the Chapter House meeting rooms. The hostesses are: Chairman Cynthia Cuddeback of Sodus Point; Sandra Yaskow, Williamson; Nina Johnson, North Rose; and Mary Augusta Boogaard, Wolcott.
