You can help Pines of Peace

Located at 2378 Ridge Road, Ontario, Pines of Peace is a residence for the terminally ill, where support and care are given in a home-like setting of personal comfort and warmth.

The home accepts no payments from residents, insurances or government funds, and operates on donations and memorials. The home is open for tours; please call 524.2358.

Groups and individuals may send supplies at any time. Needed are:

postage stamps, sympathy cards, dishwasher detergent, Band-Aids, orange sticks, cranberry juice, pens, copier paper, deodorizers, and casseroles or home-made soups that freeze well.

The president of the board of directors is Elinor Cuvelier, RN; Vice President is Leslie Adriaansen; Exec. Director Cheryl Haak, RN; Medical Director Dr. John Ghertner; Secy. Dorothy Howland; Treasurer Edgar Jorolemon; members Craig Cuvelier, Robert Haak, Richard Moore and Edward Radin.
