Children's Choir to perform in Newark church

The St. Michael Church Children's Choir has been hard at work preparing for participation in the 4 p.m. Christmas Eve Family Mass in the Newark church.

Prelude music will begin twenty minutes early, and will include Bethlehem Lullaby, I Saw Three Ships, The Christmas Child, The Holly and the Ivy, and Alleluia! Sing with Joy.

The choir members will lead the congregation in the service music, with solos sung by Brynna Venoski, Mary Truini, Natalie Meyer, Alayna Ruffalo and Nicole Meyer. Hymns will include Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, Away in a Manger, Silent Night, and Joy to the World.

St. Michael Church Children's Choir is directed by Laurie Williams with the assistance of Barb Rathbun, accompanist.

The choir members are Liz Bitonti, Michael Bogan, Jenna Bowman, Holly Bullock, Katie Clemons, Mara Colacino, Amanda Curley, Nicole Curley, Kaleigh DeJohn, Joseph DeRue, Elijah Ebanks, Alyssa Fenyn, Abbie Gilbert, Jessica Graham, Lauren Hann, Elizabeth Hedges, Mary Housecamp, Ryan Kommer, Laura Maddock, Olivia Maddock, Natalie Meyer, Nicole Meyer, Noreen Meyer, Emily Middlebrook, Maggie Montgomery, Kelsey Ojeda, Laura Phillips, Alyssa Reintjes, Alayna Ruffalo, Shannon Santell, Meghan Smith, Sarah Tanea, Elizabeth Truini, Mary Truini, Ben Uvegas, Abby Vanderbrook, Brynna Venoski, Alexandra VerMeersch, Brittany VerMeersch, Alicia Welch, and Paige Williams.
