Arcadia Museum open this weekend

Christmas tree The Arcadia Museum will be open Saturday (Dec. 23), from noon to 3.

The museum is located at 120 High St. (across from the Newark Public Library).

The museum's special exhibit continues, The C.H. Stuart Co.: From Stuart Bros. Nursery to Sarah Conventry. The museum's Christmas tree is decorated with Sarah Coventry and C.H. Stuart Co. Christmas cards and special holiday brochures.

Other exhibits include a new Jackson & Perkins Co. exhibit, plus displays of Newark milk and beverage bottles, the Erie Canal in Newark, quilts, a collection of NHS Senior Class Composites dating from 1930.

The Gift Shop is also open. Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted. Call 331.6409 or 331.4078.
