christine mcginity New Children's Librarian in Newark
By John Zornow

With a plan to increase participation at story hours, and a warm feeling about Newark, Christine McGinty, formerly of the Schenectady area, has settled in at the Newark Public Library.

Hired to replace Maureen Wroblewski as Children's and Young Adult Librarian, McGinty started in November and is no stranger to the public library scene. She has been involved with libraries since high school.

Miss McGinty enjoys Newark's small-town atmosphere and plans to move here soon. She invites participation of the youngsters of the community in the story hours and other special events that she is planning. Stop in and say 'hello.'
