Fundraiser will be a 'Senior' Prom

formal wear Put a little glamour back in your life! Dust off your dancing shoes, shop for a new ball gown and join your fellow grown-ups for 'Senior' Prom 2001. With the theme, 'The Way We Were,' a black-tie optional fundraiser dance is planned by the Wayne County Historical Society for January 20, 2001 at 8 p.m. at Newark Country Club.

Just as in your high school days, a Prom King and Queen will be crowned. There will be prize packages for these two lucky winners. (With all the beautiful and handsome people expected to attend, the titles will be bestowed by random drawing).

Hors d'oeuvres will be served throughout the evening and DJ Music will be provided by Midnite Blue Entertainment.

To relive the thrill of your prom, rekindle the romance of your current relationship and help a worthy cause, call for tickets today. (Time is short.)

Tickets for this gala event can be purchased by calling the Wayne County Museum and Historical Society at 946.4943, Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. - noon and 12:30-4 p.m. The cost is $50 single; $100 couple; or $400 corporate with 6 tickets and a mention in the program for the evening.
