Harry Potter Week at Lyons Library
On Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. the library will hold a 'Create a Harry Potter Paper Doll' workshop. Participants will use scraps of fabric, yarn, buttons and felt to create the dolls. Then on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 3 p.m., children will participate in quizzes and word games based on the popular book series. They will also be able to design a book cover for one of the three books in the series. A discussion of the Harry Potter books, 'Pizza and Potter,' will take place on Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. Children will enjoy pizza and soda as they talk about the books with Theresa Streb. Finally, on Feb. 25 children can watch a video on magic and learn some simple tricks. The programs are for children ages 6 and older. Registration is not required and the programs are free.
