Marbletown FD holds banquet
Burnham's Canalside was the setting for the Marbletown Fire
Department banquet. The master of ceremonies was Frank Clark. The program included red
heart awards, service awards and yearly reports of training and fire calls.
Pictured is Liz Mullen, the Auxiliary's President, named Auxilian of the Year.
She presented President Bob Croll with a savings book, whose funds will be used towards
the purchase of new Scott Air Packs.
Last year's Volunteer of the Year recipient, Dan Brennessel presented Jack
Jorgenson with this year's recognition. He represents the department as a Wayne County
and Northern Central Delegate. He is also an active firefighter, traveling from Savannah
for fires and plays on the department's softball team. (The two are pictured here with Bob
Croll.)
