Lyons Heritage Society will visit Newark

The Lyons Heritage Society will meet at 7 p.m. tonight at the Hotchkiss Essential Oil Building in Lyons. From there, members will carpool to Newark for a 7:30 p.m. tour of the Arcadia Historical Society's Museum.

The museum, located on High Street, is currently featuring a special exhibit entitled Newark, N.Y. - The Rose Capital of America. Pictures, artifacts and other memorabilia of the Jackson & Perkins Rose Gardens, formerly located in Newark, are included in the exhibit. Chris Davis will present the slide show Rose Gardens & Parades.
