Marion school wrestling

The Marion varsity wrestlers recently went to Red Jacket for the FL West Tournament. The team finished in eighth place.

Winning a third place was 'Butch' Matteo Alampi. Accepting fourth were: Ryan Lau, Andy Hartnagel and Jamie Pentland. Earning fifth places were Zach Freeman, Kevin Venable, Ian Van Norman and Joe Alampi.

JV results

Placing first was Joel Bantle (11-1 record); John Crum and Brad Howe finished second; taking third places were A.J. Casper, James Rector, Shane Ellison, Mike Fioco, John Boerman. Placing fourth were Corey Lee, Kevin Lasher, Joe Rosen and Nick Weis.
