Docent training class at county museum

The Wayne County Historical Society will be conducting a Docent Training Class on January 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the museum, 21 Butternut Street, Lyons.

Volunteer positions for docents, people who conduct museum tours, are available for those who are 16 years of age or older.

During the two-hour training session, participants will learn about Wayne County history, pertinent to the museum's permanent exhibits, and information about the artifacts on display.
