Virginia Rose Hunt of Norman, Oklahoma has announced her engagement to Christopher Michael Stock of Dresden.

The daughter of Jim and Rita Hunt graduated in 1996 from Norman High School and will graduate from the University of Oklahoma this year.

Christopher is the son of Hugh and Susan Stock, of Dresden, formerly of Newark. He graduated from Newark High School in 1987 and Syracuse University in 1991. He studied at the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 1998. He is a meteorologist, and a captain in the United States Air Force. The couple is planning a July 8 wedding.
