Lyons Heritage Society news

The Annual Meeting of the Lyons Heritage Society will take place on January 17 at 6 p.m. in the Eureka Grange Hall, corner of Canal and Phelps Streets, Lyons. A potluck dinner is planned with members asked to bring table service and a dish to pass. Beverages will be provided.

A business meeting will follow the dinner with the election of a trustee for a three-year term. Dues for the year 2000 will be collected.

The program will be given by Shelden King. He will present a talk and slide show on the Elmira Branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad. This includes the line to Sodus Point, the branch from Newark to Marion and the line to Canandaigua. The public and new members are invited.
