Lyons church ordains and installs

On Sunday, January 23 there will be a service of ordination and installation of new elders and deacons. Being ordained and installed are: Lorraine Wolfer, Philip Galek, Joanne Beers, Jim Allen, Jon Hummel, Sara Gurney, and Olive Ross. Jane Decracker, who was previously ordained, will also be installed. The Rev. Cynthia Huling Hummel will preach. Her sermon is called "I Will Follow Him."

Following the service there will be a dish-to-pass celebration dinner. The worship service begins at 10 a.m. The church is handicapped accessible and is located at the corner of Queen and Broad.
