Marion's OES Richards Chapter #558

Installation of officers of Richards Chapter for the year 2000 took place on January 19.

Officers were installed: Worthy Matron Berenice Sewert and W. Patron Lyman Kaller, Associate Matron Virginia Gramse and Associate Patron Claude Gramse; Conductress Joan Sewert and Associate Conductress Deborah Halstead; Secretary Vivian Voorhees; Treasurer Svea Dahlberg; Chaplain Dorothea Kaller; Marshal Bernice Young; Warden Jack Sewert; Color Bearer Fred Petty.

And, Musician Patricia Petty; Trustees Cindy Amaranda and Arthur Ertel. Star Points installed were Adah - Shirley Stone, Ruth - Marlene Ertel, Esther, Caroline White, Martha - Connie Vinke and Electra - Carol Taber.

Delicious refreshments were provided after the meeting by Joan Sewert and Bernice Young. The table was gaily decorated in the New Year theme.

The next meeting on February 2 will be "Ground Hog Day" and the meeting will open in ample form. Members are asked to each bring a Valentine to be sent to a veteran at the V.A. Hospital in Canandaigua. On February 14 Valentine's Day will be observed and on March 1, Master Masons will be honored. Officers are to wear long colored gowns.

The Past Matrons of Richards Chapter will meet at the home of Dorothea Kaller on January 29. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass for lunch at noon.
