Williamson library patrons salute veterans

The Williamson Public Library hits a heart for veterans and is taking part in the National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans observed during the week of February 13-19.

Valentine cards are now provided to library visitors, who are invited to sign them with personal greetings. In the Juvenile Department, children may create their own special Valentine to honor a veteran. The greeting cards will be sent to veterans' hospitals.

To further recognize the valiant women and men of the American Armed Forces, books and videos documenting military history are on display and available for loan. Several of these titles were made available by the generous donation of Williamson's American Legion Post #394.
