Corn is already eight feet high

cornMark DeCracker of Lyons planted early and in raised beds to beat the old saying about sweet corn - 'knee high by the Fourth of July.'

Mark's corn is about eight feet high already. (I think, Mark, that it's Oklahoma and not New York 'where the corn is as high as an elephant's eye.')

Thanks to Mark for sharing. (And rubbing it in to the area farmers!)
