Heluva Good tv ad wins award
The spot, created by Garrity Communications, Inc. of Ithaca and Syracuse, portrays a 75-year-old checker game, starting between two young men in the 1920's and evolving to the present time. The players are so distracted by eating Heluva Good cheese and dip that they fail to make a move on the board until the end of the commercial. The commercial was selected from among more than 11,000 entries in the Telly Awards competition. It has aired in Heluva Good's core markets in the Northeast.
