Another beautiful summery week has gone by. Could we have asked for more perfect weather? Have you heard the words, ' I'm bored' yet? Our front door is like a revolving door - I'd like to have a day of 'I'm bored.' Although it's nice that the neighbor kids are taking the entertaining out of my hands.

Pultneyville Homecoming is this weekend. The Antique Show & Sale and Arts & Crafts Show is Saturday. The parade starts at 11 a.m., and a chicken barbecue at 4. (Although, there's food available all day.) Head on out Lake Rd. and enjoy the fun. On Sunday, the Irondequoit Concert Band plays at 1 p.m.

lake in pultneyville If you just can't make it to Pultneyville, the Sodus Point Lighthouse concert is Sunday, too. Grab your lawn chairs and be at the Point for the Bourbon Street Jazz Band at 3 p.m. The Sunday concerts are free and it has been said that the volunteer staff grills up some of the finest hot dogs and sausages you've ever tasted. Better check them out!

Did your children go to the movie night at the Williamson Library on Thursday? The Library was showing the Empire Strikes Back. If you missed it, don't despair. There will be another Movie Night on Thursday, July 27 at 6 p.m. with The Return of the Jedi. And on Thursday, August 3 at 6, Phantom Menace will be showing.

Storytime has begun at the library Wednesday mornings at l0:30. No registration is required. The Lap Sit Storytime will begin on Monday at l0:30. (Registration and a lap are required for this one.) On Tuesday, July 18 from ll a.m. to 8 p.m. is Crafts all Day.

Mark your calendars for the Fun Day at Sodus Point. The annual event will take place on Tuesday, July 25 at the Sodus Point Park.

The Kelly Miller Circus will be coming to Williamson on July 26.

Did you read that the Williamson Library will be offering a free program on July l9 at 7 p.m. on Massage Therapy? Sharon Joyce is a licensed therapist who will present the program. For more information, call 315.589.2048 .

Have you seen the beautiful flowers at the Sodus Library? Carol Garland tells me the Sodus Garden Club has really outdone themselves. The Garden Club has a few of their meetings at the library and wanted to do something nice, and that is exactly what they have done. They took away the white stones and planted countless old fashioned flowers and mulched the whole side. Carol says that every week, there is something new and the blossoms are beautiful! There are Heritage Black Hollyhock and the flowers are just gorgeous! The Ladies have also begun working around the Sodus Post Office. I would say the garden is much appreciated. Keep up the good work, Ladies. (Thanks, Carol, for keeping me up to date. What a nice way to start your day - driving past your lovely garden.)

Don't forget the Class of '75 class reunion on July 29 at the Normandy Inn.
