Newark Grange honors Miss Tellier

The Newark Grange entertained at a picnic at the Grange for 35 members and friends.

The Grange was honored to have as special guests Aleia Tellier and her father Jeff. She was awarded the Grange Award at the June Newark High School graduation. She plans to attend University of Buffalo to major in Psychology.

Aleia is a member of Honor and Spanish Societies. She was captain of varsity and basketball cheerleading. She has done volunteer work at Wayne County Fair, DeMay Center, Kindergarten class at Perkins School, also St. Michael's Parish Festival. She was active in Varsity Club, Lil' Reds Playschool and was Yearbook section editor.

She received awards for Academic Excellence, Scholar athlete, Coach's Award, Sportsmanship, peer recognition, outstanding teenager for Wayne County, Wegmans scholarship and August Mauer Post.

She has worked at Showplace 5 theater and is now working at Wegmans.
