Fairville Festival at fairgrounds June 17

The Fairville Presbyterian Church is having a Fairville Community Festival. This will be held June 17 at the Fairville Fire Dept. fairgrounds on Route 88 North (between Newark and Sodus) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This is a celebration of music and the arts from the local and regional areas. 'God's Country,' a Christian country band from Buffalo will perform as well as the group 'Three- in-one, ' 'Him-n-Her,' with local choirs and possibly a banjo group.

Clowns Skidder and Sissy will perform for four hours with a half-hour show of magic for the children.

There will be arts and crafts displays, a children's activities booth on the church's 135-plus-year history. There will be a food concession and the fire hall restrooms will be available. The music will be under a pavilion. Tn case of foul weather, vendors will be allowed space inside the fire hall.

Choirs, musical groups, solos and duets are still welcome. Playing time will be limited to 14-minutes maximum. For additional information, contact Connie Benwitz at 331.0387 or festival chairman, Bob Bladwin at 331.0135.
