Fly-in breakfast June 18 in North Rose

Father's Day will mark the annual Fly-in Breakfast held at the Farnsworth Airport on Salter Road, North Rose, and sponsored jointly by the Lions Clubs of North Rose and Wolcott.

The event runs from 7 a.m. until noon, serving the standard 'fly-in breakfast menu' all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausages, eggs and beverages.

Hosted jointly by the two service clubs, the breakfast has become a community get-together, as hundreds of residents from the two villages and surrounding rural areas congregate for a picnic-like meal, and to enjoy socializing with friends and neighbors.

The breakfast one of the most successful and enjoyable of the fund-raising projects undertaken by the two clubs as they generate money for community service projects.

Attendance often exceeds 2000 persons.

Each member of both Lions Clubs is supplied with advance-sale tickets. Kids under age five are free admission.

Advance sale tickets are also available in Wolcott at Gallo's, Stewart's Collectors Shop, Bob's Big M and Buckminster's.
