ECCC has photo exhibit in Lyons

The Erie Canal Cultural Center announces the opening of Columns & Corners, a photographic exhibition of architecture along the towpath.

A collaboration of Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES and the ECCC, the exhibit is the final product a program that included:

an overview of historic architecture of the region;

selection of local buildings reflecting the studied architecture;

photographing selected sites;

determining the best photographs, and;

creating the exhibition.

Photographs featured are by students of the Clyde-Savannah, Lyons and Newark school districts along with those of community members.

The exhibition will be open Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays through September 30, from 1-6 p.m. Closed on June 21.

The Center is located at 165 Water Street, on the Canal, in the Village of Lyons.
