Lighthouse Run July 4, Sodus Point

Runners are invited to participate in a longtime Sodus Point tradition. The Sodus Bay Historical Society presents the Lighthouse 5K Run on the Fourth of July.

The race will be held as usual in the village of Sodus Point, with a start time of 9 a.m. Registration begins at 7:30 at the Lighthouse on North Ontario St. The challenging race course is certified accurate by the USATF Road Running Technical Committee.

T-Shirts will be given to all registered runners, with custom mugs to the first 50 male finishers and first female finishers.

Breakfast on the Bluff is available at the Lighthouse, sponsored and prepared by the Sodus Chamber of Commerce. Applications are available at the Lighthouse, or from John Zornow in Newark.

Proceeds of the race benefit the Sodus Bay Historical Society.
