The Marion PTA needs you

Marion Central PTA has elected officers for the 2000-2001 school year: Co-presidents Chari DeYoung and Kim Gardner, Vice-President Janet Freeman, Secretary Vicky Pittman and treasurer Melanie Cummings. Other positions are membership Linda Wilsea and Publicity, Barb Wilson.

The PTA supports many programs in the school district. These include family roller skating, the Easter egg hunt, 6th and 8th grade graduation, senior scholarships, accelerated reader, books and equipment for classrooms, funding for the Science Fair, Spelling Bee, Publishing center and CARE committee and more!

All children benefit form these programs. Please join the PTA. We need new members to keep these events going. Your membership dues help to support these programs. Even if you can volunteer for only one event a year, you can make a difference. Look for us at open house in the fall.
