Continental Army display in Wolcott
An antique & craft show will take place in the park from 9 to 5. The Continental Arms Collectors Association's Revolutionary War Interpretive Unit offers a first-hand glimpse of our Nation's colorful and significant military history. Armed, clothed, and equipped with authentic period reproductions, the Unit typifies a detachment from a Continental Line New York Infantry Regiment in the waning stages of the American Revolution.

The Unit's authentic drill techniques were researched utilizing primary source information in the form of General Fredric Von Steuben's Regulations for the Order and Discipline of the Troop of the United States. Von Steuben's regimented, exacting tactics and drills were introduced in the battle of Monmouth Courthouse in the Summer of 1778, and were implemented by the Main Continental army throughout the remainder of the Revolution.
