The robins are back in town!

Dean's List: Bill Bliek is on the St. Bonaventure University Dean's List. He is a junior, majoring in finance, the son of Mr. and Mrs. LaVerne Bliek.

Carol Boerman is recuperating following carpel tunnel surgery.

Bob Clark is home following a hospital stay.

Judy White and girls, Bonnie and Leah, spent time with their family in Philadelphia last week.

A Service of Prayer for Crops and Industry will be held at the Second Reformed Church on March 8 at 7:30 pm. Rev. Bratt from the East Palmyra Christian Reformed Church will be preaching and an offering will be taken for the Williamson Come-Unity Center.

Friends met for lunch and conversation at the Garlock House last Thursday. Those around the table were Amy Davis, Linda Stevenson, Sue Devlin and Robin Boerman.

The United Church has been asked to help overseas hospitals by supplying as many of the following items as possible. There is an urgent need for baby blankets, baby gowns, baby jackets and bandages. Bunny Sewert has sewing directions for the baby items.

March 3 and 4: Elementary All-County Music Festival at Marion Junior-Senior High School.

March 5-27: Wayne County Council for the Arts in Lyons proudly presents the High School Art Show. The opening reception is Sunday, March 5 from 1-3 p.m.

March 2, 1912: the roof of the new Presbyterian Church is now covered with galvanized iron shingles.
