Newark school plans book drive

Are you ready to part with your gently-loved children's books? We'd like to collect them during Perkins School Reading Week, March 20-24.

Bring your books to the school or send them in with a student. There will be a collection box in front of the school's main office.

Roosevelt kindergartners may turn books in to their main office.

All books will be given to needy students to take home. Book distribution will begin in early April.
