Winners in book cover contest

The Wayne County Historical Society is pleased to announce the winners of the Wayne County Activity Book cover design contest. The first place winner is Nancy Wizeman of Palmyra, for her pencil sketch of Wayne County scenes.

Wizeman will receive a $50 prize, donated by McDonald's Family Restaurants. Second and third place winners are Cindy Whitford and Marie Sutton Burnham, respectively.

All winning entries may be seen at the Wayne County History Jamboree on April 1, or on the W.C.H.S. Website, starting in April.

The Wayne County Activity Book will be available for sale in the Society gift shop by mid May.

This project is made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts' Decentralization Program, which is administered locally by Wayne County Council for the Arts, and by the McDonald's Family Restaurants of Wayne County.
