Refuge Center opens for season

The Visitor Center at Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge will open April 1. The Visitor Center will be staffed on weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Weekday operations are typically from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., but may vary as the building is also used for school group programs and meetings. Visitors are encouraged to call ahead to check on the Center's schedule. The 3.5-mile Wildlife Drive and Observation Towers remain available to visitors during daylight hours regardless of the Visitor Center's schedule.
