Plant sale & breakfast in Newark

The volunteer Master Gardeners of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Wayne County are sponsoring their 11th annual Plant Sale on May 13, from 8 a.m. - noon at the Extension Office, 1581 Rt 88 North, Newark.

Sale items will include a wide selection of herbs, annuals, perennial and vegetable transplants, nursery specimens, ground covers, geraniums, etc. Master Gardeners will be on hand to help you with your selection and give tips on planting your purchases.

There will be a Children's Table with Mother's Day gifts and 4-H sponsored children's activities.

There will be a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11; buy tickets at the door or in advance at the Extension Office.
