Seeking articles for Stuart exhibit

The Arcadia Historical Society is seeking display items for a new exhibit on The C.H. Stuart Co. of Newark.

The exhibit will open June 10-11, in conjunction with NewarkFest 2000.

Items may be brought to the museum between 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, or Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. Articles may be placed on loan for the duration of the exhibit, or donated to the museum.

The society is looking for items from C.H. Stuart and C.W. Stuart Companies, as well as related firms, known collectively as Stuart Enterprises, such as Pitkin, Christy, Newton and many others.
