Freshwater resources conference in Sodus

Members of the Wayne County Water Quality Coordinating Committee, WQCC are planning a spring conference to address local freshwater resources issues. Freshwater resources across the county are abundant and critically important to the economic, social and environmental well-being of our communities.

Committee member Rob Williams said, 'No matter where you live - you are in a watershed.'

The conference is called 'Getting To Know Your Watershed.' The committee has put together an informative program scheduled for Thursday, May 11 at the Heights Restaurant in Sodus Point.

If you would like more information, including a program and registration form contact the Water Quality Committee at 946.4136. Advance registration will be required.
